Empowering Young Innovators With a Next-Gen 3d Printer

Help me give my students a Bambu Lab X1C 3D Printer with an Automatic Material System (AMS) to replace our broken printer and give over 300 students access to advanced multi-material prototyping for hands-on STEM learning.

My Project

Our Technology Academy—recently named the 2025 Top Magnet School of Excellence for Technology—innovation is more than a theme; it’s a daily practice. Serving a diverse student body that speaks over 40 languages, our school empowers students to dream big, think critically, and create solutions through hands-on STEM learning. For the past eight years, our 3D printer has been the heartbeat of our makerspace, helping students explore engineering, design, and problem-solving. From prototyping keychains and designing assistive devices to developing empathy-driven solutions, students in grades 5–8 and our after-school Girls STEAM Club have used this technology to turn their ideas into reality.

Now, that our beloved printer has reached the end of its life, and our print queue is backed up. We need your help.

We’re requesting a Bambu Lab X1C 3D Printer with an Automatic Material System (AMS) to replace it and bring advanced, multi-material prototyping to over 300 students each year. With this powerful tool, students will gain exposure to professional-grade technology, explore mechanical engineering and design thinking, and learn that failure is part of innovation. Your support will help our "Dream Makers" keep imagining, building, and growing—one print at a time.
