My Students

Our students come from different economic backgrounds. Our school is in a growing economic community that is a suburb of a thriving metropolitan community. Our students are academically diverse as our school opens different experiences to our students through field trips like Sound to Sea and history trips to Washington, D.C. and New York. Clubs like Dungeon & Dragons, Step Team, STEM, and a variety of team sports allows all students to find a place our school. Our students have been able to discover many of these passions through the school library. Allowing our students to explore their own passions and supporting these ideas allows our students to become empowered with their own learning.

My Project

With the Spero robots requested in this project, students will be able to empower their own learning and explore a variety of passions across the curricular and beyond. The Spheros are small robots that allow students to learn and create. This tool can be used across all curriculums and electives.

Students learn to collaborate, problem solve, and critically think as they engage in a fun activity of learning.

The sky is the limit with Spheros and our students. We are so excited to bring 12 into our family and allow more students to be engaged in their learning and learning career ready skills for their future.
