Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our Title I school, we celebrate the rich diversity of our students and believe that every child deserves to have their voice heard and their identity respected. Our community is a beautiful blend of various races, cultures, and backgrounds, and we are dedicated to ensuring that every student feels valued, supported, and empowered in their learning journey.

We are seeking a computer charging cart and a color printer to help our students access the technology and tools they need to explore their identities, tell their stories, and make meaningful connections to the world around them.

These resources will not only enhance their learning experience but also help to ensure equity, representation, and access to technology in the classroom.

What We Need

Computer Charging Cart: Our students rely on shared devices in the classroom, but keeping them charged and organized can be challenging. A computer charging cart will allow all devices to be safely stored, fully charged, and easily accessible to every student, ensuring equal access to technology for all.

Color Printer: A color printer will give students the opportunity to create and showcase their projects in vibrant, engaging ways. Whether students are researching historical figures, creating personal projects, or expressing their cultural identities, having a printer will help bring their work to life and provide them with a tangible way to share their stories.

Your support will provide our students with the opportunity to experience an equitable and inclusive learning environment. When students have access to the resources they need, they are empowered to take ownership of their education, represent their cultures, and share their unique voices with others.

With your help, we can foster a space where racial justice, representation, and creativity thrive. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students.
