My Project

Hello, My name is Jack Trice, an 8th-grade math and science teacher at Hillside Middle School in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm excited to share a proposal aimed at enhancing our classroom experience through the integration of iPad technology.

The addition of an iPad to our classroom would revolutionize the way I teach and the way my students learn.

As a math educator, I am constantly seeking innovative ways to engage my students. Math can be a subject that is intimidating without ways to visualize mathematical patterns, especially for students with learning disabilities.

The iPad opens up opportunities to visualize abstract math concepts. Apps like GeoGebra and Desmos allow for dynamic illustrations of geometry, algebra, and statistics, making math more accessible and engaging for students.

An iPad provides tools for personalized learning. With specialized apps, we can cater to students with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to math education for all learners.
