Help me give my students the power of interactive slides, immediate feedback, and vocabulary development through Pear Deck and Flocabulary subscriptions!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am hoping to provide my classroom with two amazing technology tools that empower students to be active in their learning journey. Flocabulary is a website that has Hip-hop videos and instructional activities that promote literacy and spark creativity. Students can learn about current and historical events through listening and creating music. Pear Deck is a Google extension that makes it easy for teachers to connect with every single student in class — across every subject, every grade, and every day.
These tools- Flocabulary and Pear Deck- will ensure that students are active in their learning, creating meaningful connections and asking questions.
I can quickly and formatively assess and check students' understanding with a few clicks, allowing me to adjust instruction based on their needs and interests.
