Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

MHS is home to an amazing community of students who are determined, creative, and full of potential. Many come from immigrant families, speak multiple languages, and work hard to overcome challenges while striving for excellence. They deserve opportunities that affirm their identities and celebrate their cultures.

This Quinceañera Book and Fashion Show will do just that.

It will honor Hispanic Heritage while inspiring students to read, research, and share their learning in powerful ways. The books we provide will open doors to new stories and ideas, the crowns will make every participant feel celebrated and seen, and the runway carpet will give our students the chance to step into the spotlight with confidence.

When students see their culture valued and their creativity celebrated, they feel empowered to dream bigger. This project is about more than fashion or tradition—it’s about literacy, identity, and belonging. With your support, our students will know their voices matter and their stories deserve to shine.
