This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Storyworks will provide my students with an opportunity to use magazines in class and as an online resource. This will help my students improve their comprehension and writing skills, learn about a variety of genres, and build their vocabulary knowledge.

My goal is to build the love of reading again within my students.

I love to read and would love to show my passion with Storyworks. I'm excited that students will have their magazines and be able to share them with their families. Students will have their magazines to read at home.

My students are in 3rd grade, and this is when they begin to read the types of books they love. My home with Storyworks is that this will reach those students who have not found their genre.
