Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will have a significant impact on both my students and the overall classroom environment. The Chromebook chargers will ensure that students in my co-taught special education classroom have the necessary technology to complete assignments, access learning resources, and stay engaged throughout the school day, reducing disruptions caused by dead devices. The fidget tools will provide sensory support, helping students who need movement or tactile input to focus and regulate themselves, which is especially important in a classroom where diverse learning needs are present.
The white computer paper will be used for a variety of activities, from printing assignments to creating visual aids, ensuring that students have the materials they need to complete tasks and express their learning in different ways.
A new teacher chair will give me the ability to support my students, allowing me to move around the classroom more efficiently and remain engaged with students throughout the day. Finally, the Teacher Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to purchase tailored, high-quality resources that are differentiated to meet the needs of my students, especially in a co-teaching setting where personalized materials are key to addressing individual learning styles.
Overall, these resources will create a more organized, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, helping all students, especially those with special education needs, thrive academically and socially.
