Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with incredible 4th-6th grade students in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP). Each student has unique learning needs, and I strive to create an engaging, supportive classroom where they can thrive. They are hardworking, resilient, and eager to learn, and I want to provide the right tools to help them succeed.

To enhance their learning experience, I am requesting a Maxtek Mobile Dry Erase Board, a USB PD Charging Station, a Kore Design Junior Wobble Chair, and a Lakeshore Giant Classroom Timer.

Maxtek Mobile Dry Erase Board (40x28 inches) – This board allows me to model lessons in an interactive way, whether working with small groups or one-on-one. The included flipchart paper pad will help with anchor charts and brainstorming.

USB PD Charging Station (Unitek 120W 10-Port Type-C) – Many of my students rely on technology for assistive learning. This charging station ensures devices are always ready, eliminating frustration from dead batteries.

Kore Design Junior Wobble Chair (16") – Some students need movement to stay engaged. This flexible seating option helps students with ADHD or sensory needs focus while learning.

Lakeshore Giant Classroom Timer – Many students struggle with time management. This large, visual timer will help them pace their work and transition smoothly between activities.

My goal is to create a classroom where every student has what they need to succeed. These tools will improve engagement, accessibility, and independence. My students face challenges daily, but with the right support, they can accomplish incredible things! Thank you for helping me give them the best learning experience possible.
