Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking supplies to help build an inclusive and empowering classroom where every student feels seen, valued, and respected. Diverse books and literature featuring stories from many racial and cultural backgrounds will give students the chance to explore different perspectives and develop empathy.

Culturally responsive teaching materials will ensure lessons reflect my students’ identities and experiences, making learning more meaningful and engaging.

Multilingual resources will support students and families who speak different languages, helping to create a welcoming space for all.

To keep these resources accessible and organized, I am also adding a sturdy shelf. This will provide a dedicated space to display diverse books, teaching materials, and visual aids, inviting students to explore and engage with them every day. A well-organized space will contribute to a welcoming classroom where all students feel inspired and valued.

With your support, I can equip my students with the tools they need to grow into compassionate, thoughtful individuals who appreciate diversity and are prepared to make a positive difference in the world.
