Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are seeking funds to purchase a kidney table for our inclusion high school classroom to better support our students' diverse learning needs. As teachers in an inclusion classroom, we work with a large group of students, many of whom need personalized, small group instruction to succeed. A kidney table would provide the perfect space for students to work closely with us in a comfortable, focused environment. It would allow us to provide tailored support for our 11th grade English students, helping to bridge the gap for those with various learning needs. With this table, we can offer more hands-on, interactive learning that is essential for their growth and success.
The kidney table would not only improve student engagement but also promote collaboration among our students.
In an inclusion classroom, the ability to work in small groups with peers is vital to developing skills and building confidence. The table's unique shape makes it easy for students to work together while still receiving individualized attention. With this setup, we can foster a more inclusive and supportive learning environment, helping all our students reach their full potential.
