Empowering Students to Lead the World

My Students

My students are leaders! Our school was founded in 2016 in New Orleans, LA. We began with just 9th graders in our building, and as of the 2018-19 school year, we have grown to educate students in graders 9-11. Our founding class of 2020 is very special to our school. They take a great deal of ownership in creating the best school environment possible. We have built a community of family among students and staff. Our high school is a wonderful place for all who walk through our front doors.

As the College Counselor at the school, it is my job to meet with every student and to prepare them to excel in their post secondary endeavors.

My hope is that all students feel empowered to graduate from college and lead the world.

My Project

The majority of our students are scoring below a 16 on the ACT test. Our goal is for all students to attend college. Most colleges' minimum ACT score is a 21 or above to apply and attain scholarships. We would like the best materials possible for our students, so they can get the scores they need to attend college. "Cracking the ACT" is a book that has helped my students at my past school, and I know it would be effective here.

We will use these materials in our ACT Prep Class as well as our study hall.

We plan on giving students multiple practice tests throughout the year to better prepare them for the real test.
