Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking funding for a gaming computer to be used in the counselor's office, dedicated to running educational games on the STEAM gaming platform. This computer will be an essential tool for students as they engage in interactive learning experiences that promote career awareness and essential life skills.
With access to games like "Job Interview," "Career Simulation," and "Career Awareness," students will explore various professions while developing critical thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
These engaging games provide a fun and immersive way for students to consider their future career paths, making the experience both enjoyable and relevant.
Learning through play not only captures students' attention but also helps to build confidence and interest in their future. By using the computer one at a time, each student will have the opportunity to benefit from these educational games, ensuring that everyone can participate and learn collaboratively.
