This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hardworking, creative, and involved in a variety of activities, from sports to academics to community leadership. Despite their dedication, many of them struggle with organizing their time effectively, managing deadlines, and balancing their responsibilities. Like many young people today, they feel overwhelmed by the demands of school, extracurricular activities, and personal commitments.
To help my students develop essential time management skills, I am seeking supplies to provide them with personalized planners and materials for organizing their schedules.
This includes planners, stickers, colorful pens, highlighters, and other tools that will make the process interactive and engaging.
With these supplies, we will dedicate time each month to plan out our responsibilities together as a class. This will not only teach them how to prioritize and break down their goals but will also foster a sense of community and support as we share strategies and celebrate progress.
By incorporating these tools into a structured and fun activity, students will gain a sense of control over their workload, making their responsibilities feel less overwhelming. These skills are invaluable—not only for succeeding in school but also for their future as organized and capable adults.
Learning how to plan effectively is a critical life skill, and having the right tools can make a world of difference. This project will empower my students to take ownership of their time and tasks, giving them confidence in their abilities to manage challenges.
