My Project
The Financial Literacy project aims to equip high school students with essential money management skills, including budgeting, saving, and understanding financial responsibilities. Through hands-on activities, students will create personalized financial plans that simulate real-life expenses and income management. To support this initiative, we request funding for essential resources such as printer ink for student finance plan printouts and calculators to assist with accurate expense tracking.
The overarching goal of this project is to prepare students for real-world financial challenges by teaching them practical financial literacy skills.
This includes developing personalized financial plans that will guide their financial decisions in adulthood.
Printer Ink is essential for printing out the financial plans students develop during the course. Having physical copies of these plans will allow students to reference their work in future financial discussions. Each student will need a basic calculator to ensure they can accurately add up expenses and income. These tools will aid in understanding complex calculations, such as interest rates, tax deductions, and overall budget adjustments. Lastly, I need workbooks to include lesson samples and ideas for teachers and students.
