My Students
"The stage is a magic circle where only the most real things happen. A truer and more real place does not exist in all the universe."
Our school is a visual and performing arts magnet.
We believe in empowering students through art. The Wackadoo Zoo musical allows the students to be creative and it enhances learning by integrating language arts and theater. Our second grade students love to act! They will perform this magical play at end of the school year.
My Project
The masks will be used as part of their costumes. Last year, the students made their own masks. Many of the masks broke and did not last for all of the performances. These masks are durable and will last. All the students are already so excited to be involved in this musical. When we give them these masks, they are going to be even more thrilled.
This donation will help create an amazing experience for our second grade students.
They are already singing the tunes to the songs in between rehearsals. Adding amazing masks, will make the play a more enjoyable experience for both the students and the audience. Help us to empower our students through art!
