In our increasingly interconnected world, teaching compassion is essential. I'm excited to continue our school coffee cart project that will inspire my students to become empathetic, caring individuals. Through this project, we will explore the power of compassion and kindness in making a positive impact in our school community and beyond.
I would like to request more supplies to expand our coffee cart.
We are requesting another keurig, kpods, a bigger toaster oven and more coffee cart supplies. We would like to start serving coffee to our staff and school community more than once a week. We have gotten a lot of compliments and suggestions to open more often.
My students will learn compassion by the integration of the coffee cart project. It will help by incorporating lessons on compassion and empathy into the coffee cart project itself. For example, students could learn about the stories of coffee farmers and the challenges they face in their communities. They could also explore fair trade practices and the importance of supporting ethical sourcing initiatives. My students will learn to act to help those in need by understanding the journey of coffee from bean to cup and the people involved along the way, students can develop a greater sense of empathy and compassion for others. By incorporating these strategies into the coffee cart project for students, you can create a meaningful learning experience that not only teaches them about business and entrepreneurship but also cultivates important values of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility. We plan on measuring our student's success in learning about compassion by seeing how they interact with the school community and demonstrating those skills.
