Empowering Student Voice

My Project

As a dedicated math teacher, I stive to ensure that every student in my classroom has the resources they need to succeed. Not just academically, but as empowered individuals. My commitment goes beyond equations and formula. I intentionally incorporate tools that promote social justice and representation.

Bulletin boards in our classroom showcase diverse math representation, student work that reflects their cultures, and real-world math applications.

A classroom set of stools provides flexible seating to support comfort and focus for all learners. Our drawing tablet serves as a powerful tool for student to visualize math concepts through culturally relevant representations, blending creativity with critical thinking. Every choice in our space is designed to affirm student identity, foster inclusion, and help each learner see themselves as capable and valued in our world of math in the classroom.
