This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I am requesting—pencils, erasers, and privacy shields—are essential tools that will significantly impact my students' performance during state testing.

Privacy shields serve a crucial role in creating an optimal testing environment.

They minimize distractions and help students focus on their assessments. By providing privacy shields, we foster a sense of security and comfort for our students, allowing them to perform at their best during this critical time.

My goals for this project are twofold: to equip my students with the necessary tools for success and to create an environment conducive to their achievement. With the right resources at their disposal and a supportive testing environment, I aim to empower my students to demonstrate their full potential during state testing.

What sets my students apart is their remarkable resilience and unwavering determination. Despite encountering numerous obstacles, they consistently demonstrate a competitive spirit and an unyielding drive to overcome adversity. By investing in their success through this project, we not only reaffirm our unwavering belief in their capabilities but also equip them with the essential support necessary to thrive academically. At my high school, our community has weathered its share of challenges, yet we firmly believe that with our collective belief and support, our students can beat the odds and exceed the expectations of our naysayers.
