My Project
My classroom is full of diverse learners who are brilliant and smart in their own unique ways. They will thrive if given the choice of how to represent their learning. This project will help equip my classroom with materials that will enable my third-grade students to showcase their learning in creative ways.
Providing students with diverse tools to express their learning caters to different learning styles and promotes engagement.
Allowing students to choose how they demonstrate their understanding—be it through visual posters or multimedia videos—enhances motivation and ownership of their educational journey. Encouraging student-centered learning emphasizes active participation and personal relevance in education.
My visual students will use the poster printing materials to synthesize information and present it visually, reinforcing their comprehension and allowing them to share knowledge with peers, while learning 21st century technology skills. My kinesthetic learners will use the green screen and sound equipment to produce videos, fostering skills in storytelling, technical production, and digital literacy. These projects encourage collaboration, creativity, and a deeper engagement with the content.
