My Project
I teach amazing students with special needs in a low-income area of Hawaii. My class thrives with structure, visuals, and hands-on learning. These resources will help us build a consistent, engaging environment where students can succeed.
Scotch Thermal Laminator & 5MIL Laminating Sheets: Used to protect visual aids, communication tools, and student work so they can be reused daily without damage.
Elmer’s Purple Glue Sticks: Help students with sensory needs clearly see glue placement during STEM and craft projects while supporting fine motor skills.
First Then Visual Schedule Cards: Give students a clear and predictable routine, reducing anxiety and increasing independence.
Behavior Keyring Lanyard: Offers portable communication and behavior prompts that support students' emotional and behavioral regulation throughout the day.
Amazon Kindle Color: Gives students access to engaging books and interactive learning apps that support reading and language development in a distraction-free, eye-friendly format.
These tools will empower my SPED students with consistency, creativity, and access to tech that supports their unique learning needs.
