it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is a place of growth and learning, but we need some essential materials to help our students thrive and achieve their full potential.
We are seeking funding for the following items:
Cell Phone Storage Rack - To help minimize distractions and ensure our students remain focused during lessons, we need a sturdy and accessible cell phone storage rack.
Electric Pencil Sharpener - Our students often struggle with manual pencil sharpeners due to fine motor challenges. An electric pencil sharpener will make it faster and easier for them to maintain their writing tools without frustration.
Ultra Fine Dry Erase Markers - These markers have so many uses including helping students participate in interactive lessons. The ultra-fine tip will enable students to clearly show their work on math problems and other assignments, making it easier to follow along and receive feedback. Additionally, using dry erase markers helps us save paper, allowing students to practice and revise their work without waste.
Mechanical Pencils - Mechanical pencils are essential for students who have difficulty using traditional pencils. They provide consistent line thickness and reduce the need for frequent sharpening, which can be challenging for some students. Many students don't bring writing materials to school with them and we don't want this to be a barrier preventing them from doing their best work in school.
Our students with special needs have unique challenges and learning styles. By providing these specific tools, we aim to create a more inclusive and accommodating environment. Each item will support our students in their daily tasks, making their educational experience more accessible and enjoyable.
