This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In our inclusive classroom, every student deserves access to the tools and technology that will help them succeed. I am excited to enhance the learning experience for my students, by integrating MacBook and iPad technology into our co-taught classroom. The goal is to use technology that will seamlessly connect to our classroom's iPad and smart board, fostering an inclusive and interactive learning environment. These essential tools will empower our special education students to engage, explore, and achieve their full potential alongside their peers.

This technology enables our special education students to access personalized learning apps and resources that cater to their unique strengths and challenges.

From interactive educational games to assistive technology tools, these devices will provide tailored support to meet the diverse needs of all learners. The devices will be used to provide visual supports, auditory cues, or hands-on activities. The text-to-speech features and adjusting of font sizes on the devices will ensure that students have the support they need to access curriculum content and participate fully in classroom activities. Funding this project will help break down barriers to communication and foster meaningful interactions among all students.

By supporting this project, you'll make a lasting impact on the lives of our special education students, providing them with the tools and technology they need to succeed academically and socially.
