Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my first-grade students is their eagerness to learn. Each day, they bring energy and enthusiasm into the classroom, inspiring me to create the best learning environment possible for them.

The specific items I am requesting, such as comfortable seating, bookshelves, and a wide carpet, will make a significant difference in their learning.

With comfortable seating options and a wide carpet, my students will be able to relax and focus better during independent reading time, fostering a love for books and encouraging a habit of reading. The bookshelves will help organize our mini library, making it easier for students to find books that interest them and promoting independence in selecting reading materials.

My goals for this project are twofold: to create a welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes a love for reading and to support my students in developing strong literacy skills. By providing them with a comfortable space and ease of access to a variety of books, I aim to cultivate a lifelong love for learning and empower my students to become confident readers.
