This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our "one device" school environment, technology is a cornerstone of daily learning. Our students rely heavily on their individual iPads for everything from accessing digital textbooks and completing assignments to participating in interactive lessons and research. While this approach has many benefits, a significant challenge arises when a student's device is uncharged, malfunctioning, or out for repair. This often leaves students unable to fully participate in crucial classroom activities, creating a digital divide right within our own walls.
To ensure every student has consistent access to the technology they need to learn and thrive, I am requesting 5 new iPads for our classroom.
These iPads will serve as essential backup devices, providing an immediate solution when a student's personal iPad is unavailable. Students won't miss out on important digital lessons, group activities, or assessments due to device issues.
Every student will be able to engage actively, collaborate seamlessly, and access all digital resources necessary for our curriculum. Students can focus on learning, rather than worrying about a dead battery or a broken screen. These devices will ensure that all students, regardless of their personal device's status, have equal opportunities to participate in our technology-integrated classroom.
By providing these 5 iPads, you will directly bridge a critical gap in our classroom's technology access, ensuring that every student can fully immerse themselves in the learning process every day. Your generosity will empower uninterrupted participation and ensure that no student is left behind due to a technological hurdle.
Thank you for helping us create a truly equitable and engaging digital learning environment!
