Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many ELLs arrive with a strong desire to learn and a belief in their ability to succeed.
English Language Learners (ELLs) can experience a range of emotions, including feelings of anxiety, frustration, and isolation, but also hope, as they navigate the challenges of learning a new language and culture.
Here at our Language Lab, we have incorporated language learning through interactive exercises and practice of listening and speaking skills.
These students, who are integral to higher education, face unique challenges and possess strengths, and it's important to recognize their diverse experiences and needs. This is why having headphones, dry erase boards, a printer and a laptop are essential for participating and planning these exercises with them.
