Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are working toward greater independence and confidence as they learn the real-world skills they will need beyond the classroom. This project will provide hands-on materials that allow them to practice money management, communication, problem-solving, following directions, organization, cooking, and vocational skills. Through meaningful, repeated practice, students will have opportunities to make choices, complete tasks independently, and build confidence in their abilities. These resources will help transform everyday classroom activities into practical learning experiences that prepare my students to participate more successfully at home, at school, in their communities, and in future workplaces.
