Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how curious, motivated, and unique my students are. They come from diverse backgrounds, each with their own set of strengths, and they bring such energy and creativity to our classroom. Whether they're discussing important health topics, diving into literature, or developing their writing skills, their enthusiasm is contagious.

My 7th and 8th graders are at a critical point in their academic journey, and the right resources will help them build confidence, deepen their understanding, and develop essential skills for the future.

For health, I’m requesting $400 worth of Teacher Pay Teacher (TPT) gift cards to provide my students with interactive materials that not only teach important life skills but also encourage self-reflection and personal growth. With these resources purchased from Teacher Pay Teacher (TPT), they'll explore topics like mental health, nutrition, and decision-making in a way that's both engaging and relatable. For English language arts, the resources I’m requesting will help foster critical thinking, improve writing, and strengthen their reading comprehension. Whether through creative writing prompts, grammar activities, or thought-provoking literature discussions, these resources will help students become more confident in their ability to communicate and express themselves.

Each resource is designed to meet the needs of diverse learners, giving my students the tools they need to excel in both health and language arts. With your support, I can give them the best possible foundation for success in middle school and beyond!
