My Project
I absolutely love how curious, creative, and eager my 6th-grade students are to explore new ideas and challenge themselves daily. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their unique perspective to our classroom. Despite the challenges they may face, they are always ready to learn and collaborate, making our classroom a space full of energy and discovery.
The resources I’m requesting will enhance both their academic and social-emotional growth.
The adjustable podium will allow for flexible learning spaces, letting me move around the classroom and interact with students during small group work. In addition, students will use the podium as we engage in public speaking activities throughout English Language Arts class. The privacy dividers will help them focus during independent tasks, reducing distractions and building test-taking skills. Supplies like the colored pencils, pencils, and mechanical pencils will fuel their creativity during art projects and assignments. Tools like the balance board and blue light blocking glasses will support their physical and mental well-being, helping students who need sensory breaks or eye strain relief from screen time.
My goal for this project is to create an engaging and adaptable learning environment where every student feels supported and empowered to do their best work. These resources will help address their varied needs—whether it's concentration, creativity, or movement—ensuring they have what it takes to succeed.
My students are special because they never give up. They embrace challenges, support one another, and find joy in learning every day. With your help, I can provide them with the tools they need to thrive academically and emotionally!
