This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a primarily low-income and immigrant community. Although my students face many difficulties, our school believes art empowers them. As a result, art is fundamental in our approach to instruction. As an enthusiastic educator, I am seeking funding to provide markers, colored pencils, and other art supplies that will enable my students to engage in fun and creative projects, fundamentally altering the way they approach economics and government.
Incorporating art into economics and government classes goes beyond traditional teaching methods, unlocking possibilities for fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of complex concepts.
With your support, I aim to introduce innovative projects that seamlessly blend the worlds of art and academics, creating an immersive learning experience for students.
Your generous contribution will directly impact the quality of my students' education, helping them develop a holistic understanding of economic and governmental principles. Your support will provide art supplies and cultivate a dynamic and inspiring learning environment that sparks a lifelong love for learning in economics and government.
