This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At Easley High School, we strive to nurture the academic, emotional, and social growth of every student. Our students face a variety of stressors, from academic pressure to challenges outside of school, making mental health support critical to their overall well-being.

This project aims to create a dedicated space where students can access mental health resources and engage in activities that promote mindfulness, emotional regulation, and stress relief.

With the right tools, students can better manage their emotions, focus on their studies, and build resilience for their futures.

By providing a space filled with mental health resources and tools, we will help students better cope with the challenges they face, both in and out of school. This project will contribute to the development of emotionally healthy students who are more engaged in their learning, capable of building positive relationships, and equipped with the skills to navigate the ups and downs of high school life.
