This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will help enhance my student's passion for reading. We have enjoyed several novels as a class, for this project each group will have their own unique novel. The students will collaborate in small groups to gain a deeper understanding of the novels. They will explore different activities together, in order to gain a true love of reading

My scholars will have an opportunity to preview each book and choose the one that speaks most to them.

They will use these books to work together, learn, and use their creativity to create projects. Each book has been picked based on their possible interest and reading level. Each student will have a chance to choose what is best for them, and get to work with students they may not have otherwise picked.
