My Project

My goal is to transform my office into a calming, welcoming, and therapeutic space where students feel safe, heard, and accepted.
I want this to be a place where students want to come—a space where healing begins, and where students feel they truly belong.
I am honored to serve middle school students through our educational therapeutic program. In this role, I support students with individual and group counseling, helping them navigate their social-emotional needs. Many of these students are neurodivergent, have intellectual or emotional disabilities, and receive services through Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). For them, school can be not only challenging, but often overwhelming and scary!
The items you can help provide —snacks, books, sensory tools, and more—are more than just supplies. They are tools for connection, regulation, and growth and will be used to provide stimulation for sensory seeking students, reward engagement and acknowledge participation. These resources help students develop emotional awareness, build positive relationships, make thoughtful decisions, and celebrate differences with confidence and pride.
With your support, I can bring this vision to life—not only for the students in our program, but to help shift the entire school culture toward one of greater empathy, inclusion, and understanding.
