My Project
I am in need of calculators for my 6th grade math class to help students practice their computational skills and efficiently work through more complex problems as they progress in their mathematical understanding. I also need whiteboard markers to support interactive learning in the classroom. These markers will allow me to demonstrate problems and solutions clearly on the whiteboard, and will enable students to work independently or in groups, solving problems on their own whiteboards. Additionally, manipulatives like place value blocks are crucial for students with severe achievement gaps. These hands-on tools make abstract concepts more concrete, particularly for students struggling with foundational math skills, and help them better grasp essential concepts like place value.
