This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a high school math teacher, I’m committed to helping my students build a strong foundation in mathematics and prepare for college and careers in STEM fields. Many of my students face economic challenges and don’t have access to the tools that can support them in mastering advanced concepts. That’s why I’m requesting two TI-84 Plus CE Color Graphing Calculators. These calculators are essential for exploring topics like algebra, trigonometry, and statistics. Their color display and graphing capabilities help students visualize and understand complex problems, making math more accessible and engaging.

With just two more graphing calculators, I can provide more equitable access to this critical technology during lessons, group work, and test preparation.

These calculators are especially helpful for students who are preparing for the SAT, ACT, and state exams, where graphing tools are not only allowed but often necessary. Your support would make a direct impact on student learning and confidence in math. Thank you for helping give my high schoolers the tools they need to succeed now and in the future.
