Empowering math for Special Ed High School Students Hands-On Resources
Help me give my students our classroom cart filled with essential supplies to enhance our math learning experience. We need markers, pencils, notebooks, and math learning resources like money bingo to engage and enrich our lessons.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I absolutely adore my students' resilience and determination. Despite facing challenges, they approach each day with courage and a willingness to learn. Each resource we're requesting plays a crucial role in supporting their growth in math. Markers and pencils provide them with the tools to express their ideas and work through problems. Notebooks offer a space for them to organize their thoughts and track their progress. Math learning resources such as money bingo and manipulatives bring abstract concepts to life, offering hands-on experiences that deepen understanding. My goal for this project is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels empowered to succeed in math. These supplies will make a significant difference in their learning by providing them with the resources they need to overcome challenges and build confidence in their math abilities.
