Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the joy of working with incredible pre-K students who are eager to learn and communicate in their own unique ways. Many of my students have limited verbal language and rely on visuals, gestures, and assistive technology to express themselves. They are curious, bright, and full of potential, and I want to provide them with the tools they need to grow their communication skills with confidence.
An iPad will make a significant difference in their learning by giving them access to interactive speech programs like Boom Cards, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) apps, and engaging activities tailored to their needs.
These resources will help my students build vocabulary, improve articulation, and strengthen their ability to follow directions all while keeping them motivated and engaged.
My goal for this project is to enhance my student's communication skills by providing a dynamic and adaptable tool that meets them where they are and helps them progress. Every child deserves a voice, and with this iPad, I can help my students find theirs. Thank you for supporting my little learners on their journey to stronger communication!
