My Project
Being different isn’t a weakness; it’s a superpower. Even the smallest star can light up the darkest night.
My students face challenges due to Autism and other disabilities, but they have incredible potential to grow, learn, and thrive with the right support.
The resources I’m requesting are carefully chosen to meet their sensory and developmental needs. Sensory tools like weighted items, fidget toys, and textured materials will help them self-regulate and focus, creating an environment where they feel safe and ready to engage. Fine motor skills will strengthen their hands and coordination, essential for writing, eating, and self-care tasks.
My goal for this project is to provide my students with the tools they need to overcome barriers and achieve milestones that will help them shine, not just in the classroom but as they grow older. These resources will empower them to develop independence, confidence, and a love for learning that will carry them forward in life.
What makes my students special is their individuality and their incredible capacity for growth. Despite the obstacles they face, they approach the world with curiosity and joy.
