Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an educator, I strive to create a learning environment where every student can thrive, engage, and grow. With a new curriculum this year, I am excited to implement more hands-on, small group, and differentiated instruction. However, to make this transition successful, I need some essential classroom supplies and organizational tools.
My project will fund items that support instruction and student engagement.
A Teacher’s Guide for the new curriculum will ensure lessons are aligned and effective.
Dry erase boards, markers, and erasers are for student practice and immediate feedback and laminating pouches will preserve reusable resources
A comfortable chair for small group instruction will better connect with students during guided reading and math groups. Post-it notes are for students to annotate texts and interact with their reading
Headphones will support individual learning during digital lessons. A laser pointer/presenter remote will facilitate clear, interactive whole-class instruction. Magnets and Post-it holders will keep materials and resources visible and organized. A wireless presenter will allow me to move freely around the room while teaching
These tools will help me deliver lessons effectively, keep students engaged, and maintain a well-organized learning environment. Your support will make a direct and immediate impact on my classroom and on my students’ daily learning experience.
My classroom is filled with enthusiastic, curious, and hardworking students who come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of them benefit from extra structure and interactive, hands-on learning. These tools will allow me to better support all learners by making instruction more dynamic and personalized.
