This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, a set of graphing calculators will be a game-changer for student engagement and learning in math. These powerful tools will allow students to visualize complex concepts, explore mathematical functions, and deepen their understanding of algebra, geometry, AP Pre-Calculus, and beyond. With access to a classroom set, every student will have the opportunity to interact with technology that brings mathematical theory to life.
The calculators will be used daily for graphing equations, analyzing data, and solving real-world problems.
They will provide a hands-on way for students to experiment with variables and instantly see the effects of changes in their calculations. This technology will also support differentiated learning by allowing students to work at their own pace, whether they're mastering basic concepts or tackling more advanced material.
