Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I deeply admire my students with special needs for their resilience, creativity, and determination.

Each student brings a unique perspective, and my mission is to create an inclusive environment that nurtures their growth.

This project aims to provide essential resources that support their individual learning needs and celebrate their achievements.

The requested items will significantly enhance their learning:

Educational Resources: The Teacher Created Resource Plastic Treasure Chest will motivate students.

I will fill it with small rewards like stickers, which students can choose after completing tasks, reinforcing their efforts and encouraging engagement. Party Favors and Toys: Assorted party favors will serve as incentives for participation and good behavior. I plan to implement a points system where students can exchange points for toys, making positive actions fun and rewarding. Art and Craft Supplies: Acrylic crystal diamonds and hero stickers will be used in creative projects. Students can create visual stories or collages, allowing them to express themselves while developing fine motor skills. Office Supplies: The laminator and ink cartridges will help create durable visual aids, such as flashcards and schedules. For example, I can laminate a daily schedule with pictures and words to help students understand their routine. Snacks: Providing snacks like Nabisco Sweet Treats will keep students energized. I will incorporate snack time into our routine, using it as an opportunity for social interaction and practicing essential social skills like sharing.
