My Project

COVID-19 presented many challenges for students, including limited access to resources, technology, as well as increased feelings of isolation and stress.

The requested resources, including a portable green screen, light reflectors, lights, gimbal, phone tripod, and SD card, can be great tools for supporting students' social-emotional and academic learning in the context of COVID-19 in different ways.

The portable green screen, along with proper lighting equipment and a gimbal for stable recording, can facilitate the creation of high-quality school broadcasts.

They will enable our broadcast students to explore their creativity and express themselves through multimedia projects, such as video essays and digital storytelling. This type of hands-on, project-based learning fosters critical thinking, communication skills, and self-expression, which are essential for both social-emotional development and academic success. Engaging in multimedia projects can provide opportunities for students to develop important social-emotional skills, such as teamwork, communication, and empathy.

Producing this weekly broadcast also has a direct impact on their audience, school community, and families. By reviewing the school's mission and vision, highlighting social-emotional learning (SEL) topics, teaching new vocabulary, and more, students are not only engaging with important educational content but also actively contributing to the positive culture and learning environment of the school.
