This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Mrs. Myers and I am reaching out on behalf of SECTA. We are dedicated to promoting health education and awareness within our community.

We are currently in the process of enhancing our health education class, which serves a diverse population with varying language backgrounds.

To facilitate effective learning and engagement, we are seeking donations of bilingual therapy posters, stethoscope sets, eye exam charts, skeletal models, anatomy models, a parenting simulator, and a class set of yoga mats.

The bilingual therapy posters will help us communicate essential health information in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for all members of our community. The stethoscope sets, eye exam charts, and skeletal models will provide hands-on learning opportunities, allowing students to deepen their understanding of human anatomy and medical procedures.

Additionally, the parenting simulator will offer valuable insights into the responsibilities and challenges of parenthood, while the yoga mats will support our efforts to promote physical well-being and stress management techniques.
