Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a curious and creative bunch. 3D printers can be a fantastic tool for my students to bring learning experiences to life in an engaging and hands-on way.

For example, students can explore models of animals, plants, or simple geometric shapes, enhancing their understanding through touch and manipulation (digital and realia).

A 3D printer can be an interactive learning aid to create 3D models of objects related to subjects in all content area not just limited to science and math.

A 3D printer can also help design and print educational games and puzzles. For instance, we could make a 3D puzzle of the solar system or a matching game with 3D shapes and their names.

Having these additional resources will allow students to design and print characters or objects from stories they write or read. This can make storytelling more interactive and help visualize and understand narrative elements better.

Integrating 3D printing into the classroom can make learning more dynamic and hands-on, helping students grasp complex concepts in a fun and interactive way.
