My Project
I have some students with disabilities and face challenges participating fully in physical education activities due to limited accessible equipment. To create an inclusive environment where all students can engage together, I am requesting adaptive sports equipment that will enable my students to join lessons with ease and confidence. This equipment will benefit not only some students but also the entire class by promoting teamwork, physical activity, and inclusion.
What We Need:
Sportime GrabBalls, Set of 6, Purple — Soft, easy-to-grip balls perfect for wheelchair users and early childhood to elementary students.
S&S Deluxe Floor Basketball Goal and Ball — A sturdy, adjustable floor goal that can be used indoors and outdoors to encourage active play.
Sportime Hang-A-Hoop Basketball Goal, 18 Inches — A smaller basketball hoop ideal for all students, including those with limited mobility.
FlagHouse E-Z Play Net System — Lightweight and portable net system to set up a variety of inclusive games.
Sportime SuccessBalls, 6 Inches, Assorted Colors, Set of 6 — Soft, brightly colored balls designed for ease of handling and success in play.
This adaptive sports equipment will allow my students to actively participate in physical education activities alongside peers. It will encourage motor skills development, improve social interactions, and boost confidence. The entire class will benefit from the inclusive environment, learning empathy and teamwork. The equipment is suitable for various skill levels and will support both individual and group activities.
