This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we step into the vibrant and culturally rich month of September, I am inspired to create an immersive experience for my 5th-grade students in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. At our school, 70% of our students belong to Hispanic communities, and it is crucial that we provide them with resources that reflect their heritage and ignite their love for learning.
By supporting this project, you will be investing in the educational and cultural growth of our students.
You will provide them with a library that reflects their heritage and encourages a love for reading (because yay books!) By incorporating books in both English and Spanish, we aim to foster bilingualism and strengthen language proficiency among our students.
We are deeply appreciative of any contribution you can make towards our endeavor. Together, we can create a lasting impact on the lives of these young learners, helping them embrace their cultural identity with pride.
