My Project

I am excited to introduce a project aimed at enhancing the health and wellness skills of my 7th-grade students. The goal is to provide health education to my students in order for them to spread health awareness throughout their immigrant community.

This initiative will equip students with the knowledge and tools to learn current health topics and educate their parents and family members.

With your generous contributions, we aim to procure a diverse range of resources for students to learn about health topics and to create informative posters to display in their places of commerce and worship in the community. These resources will not only supplement classroom instruction but also enable students to continue learning and practicing outside school hours, bridging the gap between formal education and independent study. By securing essential supplies, students will be able to research health facts on the internet and create posters and flyers to distribute among the community in order to educate others about health opportunities in the area. Students wish to try to overcome outdated or false perceptions about health practices and foster trust between the community members and the local health care providers.

By supporting this project, you will directly impact the educational journey of our 7th-grade students, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in both academics and life. Your generosity will not only enhance their academic abilities, but also cultivate a lifelong passion for learning and self-improvement.
