Empowering Girls: Breaking the Menstrual Barrier in Education

My Project

In our Title 1 school serving sixth through twelfth-grade girls, we are dedicated to ensuring that every girl has equal access to education and opportunities for success. However, one significant barrier stands in the way for many of our female students: the lack of access to menstrual health products. The need for menstrual health support is particularly acute among our middle school girls. As they navigate the challenges of adolescence and strive to excel academically, the onset of their menstrual cycles can pose significant obstacles. Many of these young girls may lack the resources to manage their periods effectively, leading to missed classes, discomfort, and embarrassment. Without access to proper menstrual products, these students are at risk of falling behind in their studies and experiencing unnecessary stress during an already tumultuous time in their lives.

Your generosity can alleviate the financial strain on our student's families and ensure these students have the necessary supplies to manage their periods with dignity and confidence.
