My Project
My students are bright, determined, and full of potential. Many of them come from low-income households and face daily challenges that extend far beyond the classroom. Despite these obstacles, they show up ready to learn and strive for academic success.
In our math classes, one of the key tools for learning and understanding complex concepts is a calculator.
Unfortunately, many of my students cannot afford their own, and we do not have enough for everyone. This often means that students are left sharing or trying to complete assignments without the proper tools — putting them at a disadvantage and stifling their confidence.
This project will have a long-lasting effect on my students. By providing them with access to calculators, we will not only support their academic success but also empower them to believe in their potential. These are more than just tools — they are bridges to higher education, future careers, and a more equitable learning experience.
