My Project
I’m seeking support to build a classroom library of Spanish novels designed for high school readers. This collection will include a range of reading levels and genres—from contemporary fiction to culturally relevant classics, short stories, and even bilingual graphic novels—to support learners at different stages of language development.
In today’s world, being bilingual is a powerful advantage.
Spanish is the second most spoken language in the U.S. and the fourth most spoken globally. Proficiency in Spanish can open doors in college admissions, scholarship opportunities, and future careers in healthcare, business, education and beyond.
By funding this project, you’ll be giving high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves in meaningful language learning experiences. You’ll be supporting equity, inclusion, and academic growth for students at a pivotal time in their lives.
